So I just completed the Island of Ice and Fire with a Derth which I played as a pure mage.

So every level up, I will give him +2 Intellect and every level up, he will drink a potion of permanent intellect.

In other words, so far my Derth has got +3 Intellect per level and he is now currently Level 23.
By the way, I am playing the Steam Version.

I am thinking of buying the expansion on Steam.

Is it a good idea for me to keep on focusing on Intellect or maybe it is time to focus on stats such as
dexterity so that he can deal physical damage as well?

I saw a previous thread that says some monsters are hard to kill with magic.

Are there monsters that are immune to physical attack?

Monsters in the expansions are more susceptible to magic for the most part. Some are not just to make things more interesting. It's always good to increase Intellect because that way you can increase Environment Magic and mark in more spots.

You should be fine fighting with magic. But if you can increase Heavy Weapon and Armor for those times you need to use a weapon and to increase your ac, that's useful.
