Title says it all. I can’t seem to convince Vlad to fix it, despite having 100+ Appraisal and Persuasion. I checked my inventory and seem to not have the manuscript anymore. Is there a way to find it/get another? Or at least to fail the quest so it doesn’t stay in my log?

Sadly no. The book isn't sellable. Maybe you stashed it in your home in Mithria?
