How to get rid of the spirits?

You need to hit them with an Enhanced Soul Release Wand. Talk to Lita in New Magica with Persuade of at least 170 to find out how to get one.

Got persuade 240 but Lita won’t talk about anything else besides “About your magic”. Do I need to have some quest active?

BTW: I do have a Soul Release Wand, but it is not “Enhanced” … just a “normal” soul release wand

Update! In fact, the enhanced soul release wand is given by Kaos999 and not Lita. Whoo, I made progress!

I am trying to complete this quest, however Eton does not give any dialogue options at all, just the standard NPC greeting. I already picked up the Enhanced Soul Wand and wiped out the spirits (there were three total I believe?), although I’m not sure if there were some I’ve missed or if the quest is bugged?

There are three spirits. I don't see anything wrong with the quest. Or with Eton's dialogue. It may be a random glitch of some kind. Try sleeping for 7 days and nights (21 sleeps) in a different level from where Eton is and then go back to him.

I don't see anything to fix.

The sleeping did not do the trick. I think what I did wrong was rather than reporting back to Eton after receiving the soul wand, I went directly to Kaos to receive the enhanced wand. I was not able to report to Eton after receiving the enhanced wand, as I believe the dialogue broke from there, so I then proceeded to clear the spirits in the mine, but now I cannot turn in the quest.

I’m fine with ignoring this quest for now, I appreciate the replies!

What an adorable avatar! It's more likely a random glitch. Elton's code doesn't for whether they're dead because they don't die in the normal way. They set their state to one and disappear. Tapping through the dialogue too quickly or just the phone glitching could cause the last step of setting the state to one not to happen.

I can't do any updates to the Classic version right now due to the possibility of Apple, on review simply taking down the file as they apparently did with Elemental Asteroids.

I am probably only one of very few still playing this version and expansion of the game in particular, so an update is likely not urgent. Been wrapping up completing what’s left of the Classic expansions before starting a new playthrough of the modern version.
