How can I get her to tell me what I need to know for the noblemans inheritance quest?

You need high Persuade skill to do that (higher than 25). I hope this helps. If you need more, check the Guides section here in the forum, and search for the thread "Level 7-9 Guides", it contains all quests related to the city of Vastares.
