Where do I get a ladder to enter hole in the cemetery?

If you mean the first town's cemetery, the innkeeper will put it here when you talk with him.

I think you need to talk to the mayor before the innkeeper.

Yeah, the Mayor gives the quest for the ladder, but I thought Jode already has this quest and that's why he needs the ladder there. If you have the quest about the sickness, all you have to do is talk with the innkeeper. If you don't - go to the Mayor first (his house is on the inn's street too).

Make sure you are at least level 3 or 4 before entering the hole. The amounts of skeletons and bats that are thrown at you is pretty harsh on your health..... and patience.

In the quest : where exactly is the Orc's idol?

Stand directly in front of the Orc and then go 9 paces to the west and one pace south. Tap the grass.

How do u get the thieves guilds attention in the second city?

You get the theives guild attention once you cross the wall and speak to the mysteriousman in phyrn one of his quests leads you to them. Dont worry about it for now concentrate on doing as many quests on the mastras/vastares side before crossing the wall as the enemies get harder...
