Apple gives you only so many slots for testers each year for your games on ios. You can add only so many udids. I gave Elendil new testers and so used up some of those slots. He will need to keep some slots open for any other games he wants to test this year. And for each new tester, I like to put them in the guild and give them a quest and their item. The guild is full at this point. I don't have room to add anyone new. I know I told some people the guild was full before, they'd just have a shop but I don't like that. It doesn't sit well with me to have testers not in the guild. So I stretched the guild to add the new testers, moved myself and Liz to other venues in the world. But I really now can't add anymore.

I asked for testers about a month ago. I now have responses from those people testing I hadn't heard from. They were new and it took them a bit to get their testing legs but things are going along all right now. A lot of testers, especially the old ones and Liz, don't post in the forum, they email me so there's been a lot of work going on you might not be aware of. I would say this go round, i got 80% of my responses by email which of course you wouldn't see.

So testing is just about over. It should take no longer than the next week or so to have the game in shape for release. I think the file is pretty clean and have some good testers, including yourself and myself and Old Shaman and Pedsipec and others, and Liz. Pedsipec found some problems today that I fixed by code so it won't require a restart.

My post about testing taking a few months and being in the lurch was my way of gently nudging some of the silent testers into responding to me which they did. : ) And I bit the bullet and started testing almost night and day myself, on PC and ios, so there's no need for months of testing, or even weeks of testing. : )

Of course, I would have liked to add meganemurphy but we're just about finished testing now. I've been testing all day long for the past week. Phew! And I don't see that there's that much more to do after the next version. : ) You asked me for a lot of new enchanted items which I put in. : )

I very much appreciate meganemurphy's offer to test. I gave her a special item you all can buy in shops. I wish she had offered sooner but everything has limits and I just can't add now any new testers. I hope you all understand that.

You are the parfit, gentle knight, but the guild is full and we are about done.

I'm sorry that most of the other testers here somehow dropped off but then exam time always makes testing difficult.

Thank you for coming through, DeMenchev. You remind me of Moth who was tough but he was good. In fact, he was excellent. And I can say the same of you.

Since most of the testers dropped off for some reason, I tested myself with each release and you found things I'd missed. (I found some things you missed but they were minor and you probably hadn't gotten to them yet.
: ) ) I never tested as much as here but I enjoyed it.

It was a real pleasure to go through the game with you. : )

Looking forward to doing the Chinese expansion, Shanga, later this year or early next year. I hope you'll have the patience for that one too. : )

That's very good to hear, I also thought that DeMenchev would be a good tester, and wanted to ask him to be one of the betatesters of our new game. Or I already asked him some weeks ago? I don't remember it correctly, sorry, so just to be sure: dear DeMenchev, can I write your name on my list? : )

Yes, the fantasy card game. It's not ready yet, so don't worry, you'll have time to think about it. : ) The testing will begin on PC of course, then on iPad, Mac, iPhone, etc.
