So, after breaking into a few houses (bad choice but couldn't resist), I've gained several items of coins, leather, and necklaces. They have no magical properties or money value. Is there any use for those?

You probably can sell them if you are in the main game. Have you tried going to the appropriate type of shop?

If you have a jewel or necklace and are at a jewelry shop, you should have the option to sell at a jewelry store unless you got them from an expansion. If you have light armor boots, sell them at a clothier, not a blacksmith, etc. Are they appearing in your inventory? I'm guessing you got to Vastares, saw the lockpick shop, and decided to try things out.

The items he/she is talking about are usually at the bottom of the inventory and have no special properties whatsoever. No usual shop will buy them off you. I've had trouble selling these too. The only guy that I found is in the HOL 2 expansion, he's a one eyed mole I believe, and he only buys a couple of specific items such as these for crap amounts of gold. My suggestion is to drop them or take them to your house and drop them if you'd like to hang on to them and maybe find something or someone better.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe my general store in elemental asteroids will buy them.
