Hey guys, I'm pretty new on the forum and just wanted to introduce myself and ask a couple of questions.

First off, my name's Michael. I played hundreds of hours on the Quest, but I lost my iPod for a long time and forgot that I have the Quest on my computer *smh*

Anyways I found my iPod so now I'm back into it. I've beaten the entire main storyline twice, Cursed Chess Set once, and I got about halfway through Islands of Ice and Fire and HOL1 before I lost my iPod, but now I haven't played in so long that I want to start fresh and replay it all. I've got all the expansion packs, I've even tinkered with the Quest editor and had a lot of fun with that.

So there's a bit about me, hopefully you'll see me around here on the forum now that I'm back into it.

Now on to my questions:

First of all, is there any particular race that is considered "better" than others? I always just picked whatever sounded fun, but I'm interested to know if the stats swing one way or another, as I've seen other people mention that the races are somewhat unbalanced. I typically use dual-weilded weapons and light armor, and a bow for ranged attacks. I'm usually more of a rogue/thief type, but I'm open to anything since I'm playing through again and like variety.

Second question, have any of you guys seen The Quest Wikia? It's pretty much dead, which is very sad because wikia is a great place to get information and have a community all in one. I'm sure this forum is great, but I've been involved in some spectacular wikia gaming communities over the years and it's a lot of fun. If anyone is interested in helping me revive the The Quest wikia, I'd love to hear from you. Wikia is a community-driven site, so it's pretty much impossible and pointless for one person to do it alone, but if others are interested I'll try to fix it up.

And finally, is there any news on when the card game and the Quest 2 will be coming out? I remember hearing whispers and rumors about the card game a couple of years ago and I still haven't seen any firm dates as to when they're hoping to release it, and I just found out about the Quest 2 today. It sounds awesome, I can't wait for it to come out so I can give these guys all my money!!!

Hello, and welcome to the forums! First off, I would like to say that I typically use the Nogur race, as I play as a warrior. The main drawback is their magic resistance, although it can be remedied by enchanting items. Secondly, I would like to help rebuild the wikia with you et. al.

I haven't taken the time to check which posts need editing and whatnot, there is definitely a lot of missing information from some of the newer expansions so any help fixing it would be greatly appreciated.

Tell your friends about it too! The fun thing about wikia is that everyone can edit it together as a community, and the forum and live chat are great places to meet people (just like we're doing here!).
