Getting there isn't complicated. After leaving the city center of Eldfell through the northern exit, follow the path to the left (Way of Life) till you come to a red sign in the section named 'River of Lava'. Turn right and head east, the Stone Forest and the village aren't far from there.
Or you can just follow the eastern coastline, that's what I did, personally
I don't know where the lightning bolt comes from...Pay attention to Fire Dragons by the way, they are kinda strong
