Ceiling ladders? ?

I entered Abandoned mine, took 8 steps forward, turned right and moved 3 steps forward. There, I was standing right under a ladder which was on a wall block above me. Is it the ladder you're looking for? (can't post a pic, sorry)
If it is, I'm sorry but you can't climb it, as it's not more than a decoration (unfortunately)
By the way, this is the only ladder in the mines (plus the entrance)
