a small explanation for "Repair" pretty pls?

Postby soulprayer » Tue Dec 29, 2015 12:11 am

hello,

i bought the quest on steam and enjoying it so far.

but as a matter of fact, i just don't know exactly how the skill "repair" is working.
sure, just click on the hammer on the bottom and click "repair", but... the hammer's condition worses and doesn't let me repair another time.
often the condition of the item doesn't change at all and the hammer wears off.
when i leave that repair window, and open it again I can repair again...
...until I get above the condition of the hammer.
after that, the sound for repair makes "clonk" only and it doesn't do any good.
so, what's the point in that? doesn't it vanish? `do i simply drop it to the ground where it starts rotting?

maybe i'm just confused ... this repair action is nowhere to be explained.
do i miss a point here?
may someone please elaborate?

many thanks

What's your skill level? The higher it is, the better the hammers will work. You can pay a blackmith for repair service (shouldn't be too expensive in the beginning).

Because the hammer wears down as you use it. Like that kind of hammer would in real life.

You can't repair the items above the condition of the hammer. For example, if your hammer is at condition "good", you can't repair anything to "perfect" with that hammer. Trying to do so still counts as one use against its condition.

Correction: you can repair above the condition of the hammer, but your skill and the quality of the hammer play a role in how successful you will be.

I think it would be helpful if we had some sort of online indication that when we hit the repair button, it either helped and by what amount, or it didn't help. It just seems so silly to click on the repair hammer 10 times and not see the condition of your item change at all.

All Hammers have a condition score and status name.

Example: When you purchase a new Hammer you can see the condition is "PERFECT" once you use it a few times it will go down to AVERAGE, GOOD, POOR then it will STOP working.

The Hammers also have a condition score. (SAME AS WEAPONS)
Now the only place you can see this when you go to the Blacksmith / SHOP.

To see its number status all you need to do is select your Hammer and it will show you how much status in number is has left.

For Example 5000/7500

When a hammer stops working normally in the condition is 100-500 score, just simply go to the blacksmith and sell it off and get some coin for it.

Hope this helps, if you need screenshots let me know.
