Hi. I am doing fairly well (The Quest, v1.9.6 on PC) but cannot find a way to get to Phryn, from Vastares.
I have looked in the various topics and in the wiki but it just says 'get to Phryn through the Wall or round Lake Freymore'. I have wandered all around but cannot get through the North gate in the wall or at the goblin fort gate in the South. All swamp/water seems to be impassable.
Help please.

The road forks in Outlands of Vastares. Follow it east. When you reach the wall, talk to the Bridge guard. You'll have to pay 100 gold and he'll lower the bridge for you.

I admit sometimes some things might be a bit harder to activate but I don't really understand your comment.

To talk to the bridge guard you just have to face him (with the building behind him directly in front of you). He is basically in the middle of the screen.

But don't mind me, glad it works for you now.
