What does the Cure XXX Touch spells do?

Obviously "Cure Wounds Touch" works FANTASTIC against undead, but what about "Cure Paralysis Touch", "Cure Warrt Touch", and "Cure Plague Touch", etc..

Are these spells ever useful, mechanically? Are they even coded to DO anything?

They do work. They can be used in quests, although I don't remember the main game using them.

That's kind of awesome from a lore perspective. Like, the world must have these spells for them to be useful to people, so they are spells you can learn. Doesn't matter if they aren't useful from a player perspective.
