Not too far from the entrance on the left side is a mossy wall. Hit it. Hit the column, hit the wall, Tap the column.

But before you do all that, talk to the Witch. You won't be able to break the mossy wall until you've talked to her.

I've the same issue. When I touch on the blue torch wall, it says 'an impediment disappeared' but there's no way out.

That blue candle removes the code on the square in front of the witch that moves you away from her.
There is a secret switch behind the witch. Kill the witch to reach it. What you want is on a column in back of the gate there.

Here's I did-
I killed the which. Got the 2nd gem. Tap the blue torch, that message appears. Now I tap on that wall where the which was, that same message appears.
I still got no way out.

(I was thankful that I had a save game data in the 2nd slot. Now I'm using it.)

I see the problem. I'll do an update to make that blue candle put back the square that moves you back to the beginning. Then you just have to step on that square. Try using mark and recall though so you can recall out of problems like that.

However, if you had explored the entire area of the castle, you would have opened up walls that would allow you to leave that top area without any problem. When you explore an area, make sure your entire map is filled and you've gone everywhere.

I did an update. You just have to wait for Elendil to upload it. However, Steam is already uploaded if you are playing on Steam.
