How do I get back to Matras after im in the Castle?

In cursed chess set try talking to the captain at the port of chedddar think he might take you back.
You have 20 save slots use them all. Save after every quest, save before going into a dungeon, save, save save!!

For those who found this trying to get back to the main area of Cursed Island from the Dragon Clan Leaders, there is a secret button that will build a bridge, but it doesn't take you back to the port of Cheddar. It takes you to another part of the "mainland". I thought that I would add this for those who had a differn't idea of "mainland" when searching these forums.
