What's wrong with the NPC's?!?!?

Is it just me or is 9 out of 10 NPC's in this game are alcoholics, have problems with their spouses or talk about sex? Honestly! I was just played Celtic rift and every house I tapped the door on, it was either a drunk man, or a women yelling at her husband or a guy talking about how he got warrt from a prostitute>.<
