How to kill elf guards??

I got into the castle and killed the elf queen. I killed all of the guards in a few rooms, but I'm at the part where you crawl out of an air duct into a room full of guards and they all kill me on the second or third hit. What do I do to progress?

Can you upgrade/repair/enchant your equipment? It's a "pro" expansion with a lot of such "high-level" battles. If you don't play it as a standalone game you could get much stronger in other expansions and then come back and beat everything without such struggles. Otherwise... Maybe you can find something outside the castle or in your inventory that'll help you deal with them? I don't know. Good luck
