The quest classic: gender issue

Postby Angel The Wonder Dog » Wed Dec 22, 2021 10:10 pm

So i have a character on the quest classic (gold) that somehow swapped genders from female to male either when i beat the main game or when I went to the islands of ice and fire expansion. And i don't know how i can fix this in the editor to find out what caused it because i currently don't have a Windows running computer, and Wine is acting strangely and won't launch anymore for some reason.

I have never heard of this before and I have not many ideas on how it could have happened. Maybe disk corruption? It's relatively rare but can happen...

In any case you can't fix it in the editor. I can change the gender back if you send me a save file. You can find our email address on our home page under "Contact Us". :)

It happens only with certain NPCs, i'll send a save though.

Ah, so not "swapped genders" just some NPCs address the PC wrong. That might be script mistakes, I don't know. I still can take a look at your save file but probably can't fix those.

I think it is a script issue. It happens on all of my saves after some point. It happens more often in expansions than not.
