I transfered my "the Quest" ipad saves to my computer, and then to iphone. But when i open the save-file, thr Quest app crashes.

Same method worked on the okder The Quest Classic. Is save-transfer not supported on the newer Quest? (To be clear, i am not transfering from the old game to the new one. This is strictly the new game)

It should work. You must have the latest version and all the same expansions enabled.

Got it working. But what i did was create a new (first) game, saved, and then i can successfully load a save-file imported from a different device

Something in yhe create-new-game, of first-timing-save triggered something
