All Sound cuts out in Island of Fire-PC

I went through the whole original Quest without this issue.
I'm currently at the Island of Fire, and whenever I shoot the crossbow and the sound where it hits an enemy plays, the sound will completely or majorly cut out until quick save + reload.
It sometimes buzzes like a distortion error. I don't think it is my speakers because it happens when using headphones as well.
