The Quest HD?

I have an older version(?) of The Quest that I have been playing again after a long layoff. I also bought Thor's Hammer which is stunning looking and sounding! Is the newest version on IOS an updated graphics version, like Thor's Hammer? Will the updated graphics (?) of the Quest also work with those older, non-graphic updated add-ons, like, HOL, MH, etc? Thanks!
