Expansion Resources

If I were to purchase the Islands of Ice and Fire expansion on my PC, would I be able to use the resources from that game in the editor? Like the dogs, snow, etc.

No, sorry. Even though you'd have the expansion, others who could download your expansion would not necessarily have Islands.

The only exception to this is the crossbow (and bolts). Even though it's not used in the main game, I've added it to its resources.

If you just want to create an expansion for your own amusement, you can extract the resources from Island's questworld file and add them manually. (questworld files are just zip files. You can create a copy and open them with any advanced zip handling program or change their extensions to zip and open them with explorer.)
