Shaman’s Garden

So... I get it. You step on things, the flowers tell you stuff, and you put the numbers on the switches. Fine. But, nothing seems to happen (I’m assuming the dangerous flowers change?)

I looked at the walkthrough...it tells me the numbers. But, again, nothing seems to happen.

What am I missing?

I’ve noticed that some puzzles require very specific steps, so maybe I just didn’t do the exact dance required?

Please help.

After you set the switches to the correct number, you have to step on a floor switch to remove some deadly plants.

See if this helps. If it doesn't, come back.

AFAIK, there are 5 switches in the garden: 3 colors, one “clear”, and one “restore”.

I can set the switches. But stepping on the W “clear” switch resets them back to 0 and clears the flowers. The other N “restore” button restores the flowers. Setting the switches and stepping on these doesn’t appear to affect the plants.

I don’t see anything else on which to step.

I noticed the blue switch controls are reversed, I set to minus the number, too, JIC. ;)

(Also just cast “Cure poison touch” on the poison oak, since Nifont is still fresh in my mind. :P )

You have three faces--yellow, blue and red and switches that you can tick up and down so you change the numbers the faces show--what numbers do they show? Yellow should be 3, blue 8 and red 5. Don't worry about anything else but those and the floor switch I indicated. If the numbers on the wall switches are correct and you step on that floor switch, it removes the harmful flowers. Don't step on any other floor switches.

Then go south along the little path and find your way through a bush and go south until you come to a hole in the wall. I just tested this and it works fine. All you need to worry about is setting the numbers correctly for the three faces by using the switches, step on that one floor switch near the faces that I indicated in the pic and go south.

Oh. Ok. I get it. There is no “visible” change and only one of the flowers is no longer dangerous. Sigh.

Thanks for the help! I knew I rescuded you for a reason. :)

Thank you for rescuing me from that horrible dungeon. Yes, that removes the most important "evil" flower. : )

Was just about to suggest that as I tested it and it was fine, it checks a global. If too many expansions are enabled, the engine can get confused sometimes.
