I know this is a question for Elendil; how far along is the editor? What’s left to do?

Hard to say. Map building is mostly done, now working on NPCs and quests. That includes gameplay features like NPC movement which need to be more involved than in The Quest so it's a large task. ;)

I can only imagine. I’m glad progress is being made, keep at it!

Hi! I want to suggest one feature that's pretty much the "fame" thing but more realistic.

The player's fame in The Quest is based on inner or outer (opinion or religion) moral, and even then it's too static.

What I'd like to see is "fame" between NPCs based on personality disorders in NPCs you interact with. For example, being unfaithful to someone with BPD could make your reputation black among all shared acquaintances or making mistakes during a narcissist's quest (or humiliating him/her) could make the quest failed regardless of its result.

I believe it to be a fact that most evil comes from normal people being unfaithful rather than from "toxic" "crazies" who suffer from a personality disorder. They can feel things that others will never feel, so they're just reminding us what it is we can't see.

I like this idea, it would require you to be more observant as to what type of NPC you’re dealing with before you choose your speech option.

I had a dream where there was different levels of a tower and that I could get to the higher ones but also see the lower one when I was on the higher level, and the higher level when I was on a lower level. And also I could hear the monsters on the lower level less well when I was on the higher level of the tower.
Will this be in the game, and which of these ideas is possible to be in the game?

Was it like a glass ceiling and floor so you could see through?

No, there was a ledge where I could look off into the lower level.

It’s been a little more than a month. Any updates or new screenshots to tease us with?

Sorry, we're working on it, no new screenshots though. (I'm designing the last quarter of the world with the editor while Elendil still creates the game itself from the editor.) Will definitely put them up when available. :)

Just curious, is there more female portraits or just those 2?

Of course. There are dozens and dozens of female portraits. You need some more? Here you go. :)

Those are both NPC and playable character portraits.
I already made about 200 male/female/child portraits (The Quest 1 had about 100) and I think I still need to make some more. :)

By the way, in the meantime I just finished the full world design with the editor - it's about 4*-5* bigger than TQ1 had so hopefully we'll receive no more complaints about the small world size. :) So all maps are done, all graphics are done and almost all of the writings are done. While I'm waiting for Elendil for the finished editor/game version (to put those NPCs with dialogues into the world at last) I have now some time for making some more portraits. :)

The release is still a bit far... As I wrote the world's design is ready but it's "empty", so you can walk around without meeting any signs of life (characters, citizens, animals or monsters). We need to breath some life into it... But for that the game engine still needs some programming. Will post here any real update when we'll have. :)

I don't know. Maybe the game will be finished but will need many tests before any relase. We'll see.

Hello,
Almost half a year has passed since the last post. Are there any news to the game or the progress ?
Do we have a coarse release date or some patchnotes ?
Can’t want for the game !
