Well I accepted the quest but killed the son before the quest but I killed him when I was trying to get to the hallow tree (killed him once when I started this expansion) need help!

That can't be...he appears only after getting the quest. The name of the monster you need to kill is Arven and his skin is darker than a usual Flesh Eater's. Was it him who you killed?

Well they all look the same plus it was the first zombie I saw and was near the hallow tree

Search through the eastern coastline then, look for a flesh eater named Arven.
