Gurutz's location after rebuilding the old bridge

Hello everyone, as this is my first post


To give you a better clarification, here's what I did:

- after killing the governor's servants, I thought that he escaped to the port, so I went straight there,

- I met Mersant and watched the ending,

- I've rebuild the bridge,

- Gurutz is nowhere to be found! He's not in his houses in the abbey and the village, he's not in any of the ports.


So... where the hell did he go?

I really hope this quest ("Rebuild the old bridge") is not bugged because I'm gonna be REALLY pissed if it's gonna stay on my "Active" list forever

He moved to another quiet little village.

I don't get the point of this anyway... Why on the world would he do this? And how is the player supposed to figure that out?

I think he talks about it a bit, but I might be mistaken. As for why, no idea. I haven't written any of the quests in the game. (And I doubt even Sylon remembers it.)

Yes, he talks about this twice during this sidequest - once (at the start) he says he wants to leave the island of Thule and he needs some help for that. Then, when you accept this quest, he says meet him at his new house on Eldfell, in the Stone Village.
Also when you look into your quest log and read this quest's description at any time, it says "When you're done meet him at his new house on Stone Village for the reward."

So I think there is just enough help/info for this in the game. : )
