Lord Stonely's Revenge and Roar of Thor

Postby DarkSamuria » Wed Dec 13, 2017 7:32 am

Ok so I found Ragnar the Berserker but I don't have the Roar of Thor, but now I am completely stuck I am in a room with 'Dead Abbot' and there are 3 sets of spikes, when I walk over them I am teleported back to the start. Behind me is the flooded cave, one of the switches needs to be repaired and there is a dragon statue in the middle of the room, I have no idea how to progress could someone please explain as i can not find any walkthroughs on the internet. :D

You need to go to Jotunheim to get the Roar of Thor to kill Ragnar the Berserker.

There is a book in the game called 'Hugin and Mugin--

"By Hugin and Mugin, Thor's sacred ravens--We wrote this. Spoiler alert. Only read our bird scratchings if you think you'll need help finding Thor's Hammer or are lost.

Hugin--Since we are Thor's great yentas, flying all over the world seeking knowledge, kibitzing with all, we learned a few things and found out how you can find Thor's hammer.

Mugin--Oi, first, get a key from our dear priestess in Two Raven's Temple. She's our zaftig caretaker. Do her quest to bring us Sweet Bread. We will remember you in our dreams.

Hugin--To use that key, you'll have to journey to the fabled land of Jotunheim. Boy, I can tell you you'll freeze your toes off there, better take something warm. To get to Jotunheim, find a well called Grim's Well in the west.

Mugin--Before you go, you should sniff around in Bloodmail's Fortress and find a blade, the Sword of Sweet Revenge. You'll need it to fight some dragons and you'll need to find a shield known as St. Aidan's Cross. Lord Gorum has it under lock and key.

Hugin--Then you're ready to find Thor's Temple in Jotunheim and talk to the great Oracle there. She will give you a key to Thor's altar where you may get a big prize.

Mugin--She's a psychopath and a sadist, so she'll make you sweat before she gives you that key. Hoo-ha!

Hugin and Mugin--Good luck, baby! If you give up on locating Thor's Hammer, just find that k'nocker Phredd in the Arena of Flames. You'll work your butt off getting to him, but that's life."

There is also a book called 'Advice' in the game that you can buy that says-

"Take Thor's key to Jotunheim where you will find Thor's temple and an altar to the god Thor. You will need this key to enter the temple which is guarded by a ghoul. You'll need a shield called St. Aidan's Cross to kill him.
Word has it Lord Gorum found this shield long ago. Also guarding the temple are dragons. You'll need the Sword of Sweet Revenge to slay them. Look in Bloodmail's Fortress for the sword."

Thank you for your reply, I have killed Ragnar and finished Thor's hammer but I don't know how to cure Shambling, I have looked everywhere i can't find the cureall quest and I can't find phredd, I went through arena of flames but it says I don't have the password. What is the quickest way to cure Shambling? Also I have Berserker's curse and I am unsure how to cure that.

You get the Cureall quest from DeMenchev:

For DeMenchev, St. Hilda's Abbey, find the Cureall statue and tap it with Thor's Hammer to reveal the cure for the Shambling Disease.

He'll help you cure Shambling if you do his quest.

Bridget sells Cure Berserker's potions.
