Dun of the Dead and disguise

The Dun of the Dead has three sections. Stairs on the east lead to a switch. Activate that one first. Stairs on the left (west) lead to a switch. Activate that one second. That will open a gate.
For the disguise, find the Green Fairy in the north, Green Fairies' Moor. She'll ask you to do a quest. Her reward will be the disguise. But she won't talk to you about a disguise unless you have this quest:
"For Wizard Cathbad, Red Branch Knights' Castle, persuade the Green Fairy in Green Fairies' Moor to make you a disguise so you can sneak into Connacht."
