LG Stylo G issue

Postby reddragon72 » Thu Nov 03, 2016 12:57 pm

Ok so here is the skinny. I have an LG Stylo G Stock OS Marsh non-rooted.

When I fire the game up the first time I get what looks like a browser opening and then a blank screen. I can hear the music and click on the menu, blindly. I got it to work once by hitting a menu button that opened the browser up to RedShift then the back button on the phone.

It is working great on my HP Revolve 810 G2 running Remix OS, and I mean great but I want it on the phone too...

Let me know if you need anything but the game does not crash out it is just a blank screen with the backlight on.

I'm working on this issue right now.

You should be able to get through the black screen by opening the recent apps list using the overview button, then just selecting the game. It should work without problems after that.

If you are not afraid of the command line, I could also use your help tracking down the cause of this problem. Of course I don't want to impose on you. But if you have the time, please write to us. (We could work easier using email than the forum.)

I do dev work so command line stuff is nothing. But this is my personal phone with work email so it cannot be rooted. Other than that I can help. Let me shoot you all and email and I will see what I can do to help.

BTW the back out and back in works every third or fourth try.

I haven't seen your email. :?

Can you also try simply rotating the phone to landscape (or to portrait if you start the game in landscape) after you've started it? Thanks!

As for the help, I would really appreciate it. No rooting is needed, I'd just need to see logs from the game. You'd need to put the phone into development mode (easy), download the Android SDK to be able to print out the logs and become a beta tester to receive test builds (which also easy).
