Video games

Postby Matías111 » Wed Feb 22, 2012 7:50 pm

Well I was bored so I've decided to make a thread to talk about video games. What's your favourite game? And what's your favourite console?

Personally I'm a big fan of the N64. My fav games were Banjo Kazooie(N64) and Metroid Prime 1 (GameCube)

Is it too cliché to say Xbox360? Lol
Well other than that I also enjoy my CPU and PS1, and I particularly love the games Skyrim(360) (also somewhat conformist...), Digimon World(PS1), and Half-Life(CPU). Those are 3 of my favorites so far!

BioShock (1 and 2) are my all-time favorites for Xbox 360. But my favorite game, period, is the first Kingdom Hearts for the PS2. I have sooooooo many memories of throwing boxes at Goofy 

Ya I finished it a while back (but not the riddler quests) so I haven't played it for a while. I would have to say skyrim is my all time favorite game! That game is why I got this one! I had this game a looooong time ago back when I had a palm tungsten c, but then I broke it and have played the game since. After I played skyrim I had remembered this game and was going to try to get the quest on my brothers palm but it was terribly hard. Then I search up The quest on the app store and to my amazement they had it! So here I am playing the lite version of this game because the full version is probably never going to be free.

I myself don't own skyrim, I play at my brother in laws house, so I downloaded a DOS emulator for my crappy computer and now I play DaggerFall. It's skyrim, only twenty-ish years older. And it has a few thousands times as much land mass.

If we wereto measure distance in continants, Skyrim would be Austrailia, and DaggerFall would be all of Europe.

The elder scrolls II dagger fall is a computer game I think is rated T. It can be found on the elder scrolls website for free. It is similar to this game, but horrible in comparison to me. I prefer oblivion. If I had skyrim, I'm sure I would luv that too.

Ancient Domains of Mystery (awesome roguelike with a persistent overworld, many different endings and procedurally generated dungeons) http://www.ancientdomainsofmystery.com/

Aurora by Pentarch (an amazing space themed 4x game) http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php

Dwarf Fortress!! http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/

Minecraft

The Polynomial

Spiderweb Software also makes good RPGs

Mount and Blade: Warband

and other games i'm not thinking of...

btw all of the games (except for aurora: it's only for PC) i mentioned are for PC and mac

Actually, Skyrim is only around twenty square miles. DaggerFall is somewhere around twenty THOUSAND square miles. However, DaggerFall's terrain is almost entirely procedurally generated, so it's kind of bland.

Hehe I'm a big fan of the souls and kings field series. Demons souls was good but I don't like that it was ps3 exclusive. I'm more of an xbox guy. Anyone else like Demons/Dark Souls?

My favourite consoles are Wii, Gamecube and Playstation 2.
I have so many favourite games... Just to name a few: God of war 2, Mario Galaxy 1, 1080° Avalanche, Sonic 1 (16 bit), Oblivion, Donkey Kong country returns..
But there are many more games I love as much as the above.
The Quest is definitely amongst my favourite games too :D

Oblivion is my all time favorite, then probably the souls series. I've picked up Nioh recently and I'm in love with the combat system.

For sure,The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is one of my favs, I also Love the Quest, of course! Shadow Sun was a pretty good game but I didn't like it enough to play it more than once.
