Re: Free roaming games?I've played Dark Alliance I & II, but not the original baldurs gate
Re: Free roaming games?Wait, do you mean the App Store baldurs gate, or the legitimate one
Re: Free roaming games? The legit one. I forgot there was one for ios :/ Not technically free roam, but it does give you a lot of freedom I recently started playing Daggerfall for the first time and I am loving it. You can get it for free from the official website
Re: Free roaming games?Have u ever played the iOS one, b/c I might be interested on it
Re: Free roaming games?Nope, never played. I've read a lot of reviews that say it doesn't really add enough to justify the higher price, but I guess if wanna play it on ios you don't really have a choice.
Re: Free roaming games?Personally can't stand most games on iOS.
Re: Free roaming games?I'm with wolf, the only games I play on my ipod anymore are The Quest and cards.
Re: Free roaming games? Most games I have eventually get deleted, but the quest is different. I have had this incredible game for at least two years. I honestly don't think I'll ever leave this game.
Re: Free roaming games?Yeah, great game. As I've said in other places on the forum, I was a fan of Legacy and when this game came out... Needless to say I've been entertained ever since!
I live in a fairly rural area so I don't play it during transits as some of us may, but I will definitely have this iPod out with TQ playing whenever I have a spare moment and am not at home.
Re: Free roaming games? Is legacy PC only?
Re: Free roaming games?I read up and legacy is PC only, which is saddening. In other news, I got Baldur's gate and I'm loving it! A bit overwhelming at first, but well worth getting into. And I'm fairly confident it's simply the original ported on iOS.
Re: Free roaming games?Legacy originally was a PDA game back in 2003 so it has Palm, Pocket PC and Symbian versions as well, but yes, nowadays people usually play it on PC - that was only a test version for us during the development but it still works properly.
Re: Free roaming games? So back on ravensword, I jut got to the 12th part of the main quest. I'm in the crags, but I can't find the guy I'm supposed to talk to. Help?
Re: Free roaming games?I played Baldurs Gate & BG:Dark Alliance on either PS or XBox & Loved them! See, it was so long ago, I cant remember which system I played them on! Xbox was where I found my love for Elder Scrolls:Oblivion & Final Fantasy 7 thru 10-2, I enjoyed on PS! Wish I couldve helped w/ that Ravensword question about the crags, but I havent played that game in so long so I cant remember.
Beckie
Re: Free roaming games?Yes, I found Oblivion on the Xbox too. Haha, don't worry about my question, I've figured it out long since. But thanks.
