Are expansions still being made?Kinda new here. Just want to know if expansions are still being made.
Re: Are expansions still being made?A few may be, but most people that would are going to wait on the TQ2's editor to do so.
Re: Are expansions still being made?Sure thing.
Re: Are expansions still being made?I hope TQ2's editor is much more stable than TQ's. Seeing it crash every so often was extremely disheartening.

Re: Are expansions still being made?Yes. Saving constantly is key
Re: Are expansions still being made? The Quest editor never crashes on me. Just mentioning.
It will crash if you do something you shouldn't do. : ) Or don't do it the right way. For example, you can't start a game in a drop down dungeon. It has to be on the surface. Etc. Etc. We might make Nine Dragons, the Chinese expansion as a Quest expansion---not sure yet. Have to see what Old Shaman wants to do.
Re: Are expansions still being made?Catacomber is still alive? Mother of mercy please preserve me. Glad to see folks are still alive on this forum!

Re: Are expansions still being made?Yah! Alive!
We decided to make Nine Dragons with the Unity engine because we have some smack em dead 3d graphics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZyXcORADCc : ) Am so excited to use them. It's irresistible. Our days of making Quest expansions have been very satisfying over the past many years but it's time for us to move on. And we have moved on with our new game made with Unity Wizzard Island working on a new one with many improvements. : )
Re: Are expansions still being made?Well shit, Cat: looks great!
Re: Are expansions still being made?Damn straight! I had no idea it would have such high quality graphics. Way to go cat!
Re: Are expansions still being made?We already have all the quests written out for Nine Dragons and the rest is just putting it all in. I still love the Quest and loved making the expansions and have carried over many of the little tricks and trials we used in the expansions to Unity now.
But first we have to finish "Omber"--made also with Unity and equally beautiful graphics---Sylon made many of our 2d graphics. "Princess Kroma has been trapped in the Omber by the evil Wizard Somes. The Omber is an alternate dimension. The game has two parallel worlds and am up to my old tricks of your having to get there via switch and key puzzles and a few other tricks. : ) I hope you'll rescue her because Somes is channelling her magical powers to enslave the villagers of Brightly Village to work in the local diamond mines and otherwise serve him. The enslaved villagers are half-starved and treated cruelly. Princess Kroma suffers not only because of her own torments but because of those of her people. It's your job to free them and then free her. There are resistance fighters--villagers who are vigorously opposing the Wizard Somes and they need you. It's time to be the Heroic One once more." Just put in the Resistance Hideout. : ) So, anyway, I'm alive and busy. : )
