ive completed almost all quests in thor's expansion except for two. 1)loose goose 2) village girls rescue. searched every conner of the related quest area yet got no clue on how to solve them. am i missing something here. any one completed these quest? care to give me a hint. and ive also have doubt in the flooded/underwater cave south side switch. how to repair it?? next is the bridge connecting the holy island and pilgrims crossing area (viking area). it says you need a repair hammer and good repairing skill. i had all hammers beginner, intermediate, master and superior hammer in my inventory. my repair skill level is 89 and with enchanted robe i made the repair skill lvl to 129. stil unable to repair the bridge. i doubt, the rescue village girls quest is connected to this bridge repair. any idea anyone?

Loose goose--is hiding in a brownish bush in the south of Humbria Castle west garden area. Switch needs repair greater than 17. Bridge needs repair greater than 10---but it tests if you have either a Master repair hammer or Island of Ice and Fire hammers---you probably have more than one kind of each hammer in your inventory. Editor can only test for one. Stash your extra hammers in Old Shaman's shelves which have permanent storage and then you should be able to repair the bridge.

Flying geese need to rest and hide sometimes. : ) In St. Aidan's crypt in the niddle south there is a floor switch--if you step on that it will take you to where the girls are--they might (sniffle) not be alive -- you might find an evil witch has a certain amulet belonging to Hertha. The floor switch is beyond a green wall --hit the wall. If you see a wall that is a different color in our expansions or made of different bricks it often means something's going on there. : ) To repair that switch you also need a quest-- For Frosthyr the Ice Giant, Ice Caves, find his half-brother the Sea Giant Aegon and tell him the good news that he's an uncle. I used to give hints on objects like that that you might need to do something like get a quest to be able to do anything there--but some people found that tiresome so don't do it any more. Eventually if you play through the game, you find out that you can use that switch.

No, if you repaired the switch you shouldn't need to do anything more.

yessss managed to solve all the quest... and it seems that switch got repaired already, but everytime i fiddle with it, it just says needs to be repaired. for village girls/ Hertha's rescue quest, i had already killed the witch before talking to the tailor and stached the hertha's charm in my storage. handed over the charm and quest got solved. thank you once again. waiting for your next expansion.

Not a dumb question. He's in the part you haven't reached. There is a switch there. You have to remove something to reach him.

I haven't found him yet either. Although I did end up repairing the switch without really knowing how (my repair skill was already high...). Am I correct to assume it's the stone pillar that needs to disappear? And does that depend on the sequence/positioning of the three switches in that big room - or should it be enough to just repair and pull the one lever? I also remember having used the switches to the effect of a message like "a force wall has disappeared" or similar, but I always thought that had made the dragon statue accessible.

I tried repairing it (my repair skill is 80) using only the Master Repair Hammer (Same principle as Bridge to Holy Island) but this hadn't worked (I have 4 Superior Repair Hammers & 3 Master Repair Hammers). I noticed earlier on in the game, I made one of the columns in the Underwater Caves disappear (a message did flash up too quick for me to read -although I could have pressed a key to quickly) although can't make the second one disappear (if that's what you are supposed to do).

Ditto about the quick message and second pillar in the Underwater Caves. I have the same repair skill and items. One thing i noticed is that, after that message – which I'm sure contained something about having indeed repaired the switch – when I went back, still on the same save, it said I still had to repair it. I tried with only one hammer in the inventory (not only all types, but also all levels of integrity from good to perfect) but it didn't change the message. I wonder if that 'positive' message only comes up once.

There are three switches. The one that removes the pillar blocking your way to him is in the far northwest there. You don't need to do anything special to that switch but tap it.

I just tried and the pillar crumbled. I had tried 1k times before to no effect. What is the thing that I unawarely did to make that happen?

Hmmm.......It must be me as the only switch turned on is in the northwest corner of room. The one remaining pillar (the left pillar) is still there. I have hit it, touched it and it don't budge an inch. Earlier in the game, I made the right pillar disappear and that revealed entrance (i think) to St.. Aidan's Crypt.

In my case, still with the weirdness of the "to be repaired" message after the "switch repaired" one, I'm starting to think that repair did actually go through and that it enabled the NW switch to function and so open the pillar (you just need to use that, not tap or do anything on the pillar itself). Maybe Cat can confirm?

Cat, I think what you said sounds very plausible. Even so, I have had no luck with finding the Sea Giant.

Is it possible you don't have the key that opens his gate? It's on a shelf beyond the two forcefields that can be removed by other switches there. What does your map look like?

From your map, it looks like you already found him. What happens when you go back to see Frosthyr who gave you the quest to find him?
After you talk to him about his nephew he disappears. He takes your invitation and gives you his acceptance which is what Frosthyr needs to finish the quest.
