Iron knob mine hack

I have finished the Iron Knob Mine before. But I messed up this time. I can't find hack in my inventory or shelves. I remember picking it up. But I no longer have it. I either dropped it or sold it. How do I get it back?

I decided to sleep at an inn for 10 days. Slept one day extra. Then went back to the mine. It was there. I knew that reset creatures so you can keep leveling up. Didn't know if it worked on quest related objects.
