Attracting the attention of the thieves guild

Ignore them for now. You will be sent back once you get to Phryn.

Talk to the mysterious man near phyrn he gives you quest and one of them involves the thieves guild.
You have 20 save slots use them all. Save after every quest, save before going into a dungeon, save, save save!!

The Theives Guild is a part of the main questline, so they will come about in due time
