i am trying to find the thieves guild, where the heck is it???

Ignore them for now. The Mysterious man in Phryn will send you back later in the game.

I have that quest and still cannot find them!!!

It gets frustrating after a while

IF you have it go to the location mentioned at the quest. (careful, lots of magic users. Save nearby) wander around that one square mentioned and you'll find a group of bandits fast. Talk, and choose a choice. (I personsonally decided to murder them all with my big sword) then, follow the quest once more, it will ask you to get to the Vastrastes inn keeper at the port I believe. Talk with that guy, and he will say come at night...I think. Go buy a room at his inn lol. Now a man will come to you, speak with him. He will tele you to the thieves guide. LISTEN TO THE THIEF LEADER!!!! He tells you what to do next and where the guide is to Return to them.

Ps: read the quests please. If someone like the mysterious man offers a text option, listen.
