New to Game!

New to The Quest, playing the free trial right now. This really takes me back to the old days of Bard's Tale, Eye of the Beholder and Wizardy! Couple questions:

- Is it a completely solo game or do you form a party/gain recruits later?

- How much loot (items) are in game? 1st impression is a lot...

- I assume the core game is long...how do the expansions, of which there seem to be many, stack up?

- What is the max level in game?

- Finaly: Is there an instruction manual by Red Shift or Chillingo? PDF perhaps?

Sorry for all the questions...but this game really seems to itch that spot classic RPG spot I have been trying to reach on the iPhone.

Hi Noigel, welcome to the world of The Quest! : ) I'm trying to answer your questions:

- yes, it is a completely solo game, the main focus is on the character development and on the story

- there are very much loot in it (it has a large main island with a lot of underground levels, thousands of items, dozens of spells, monsters, quests etc.)

- the core game is long (about 50-60 hours of gameplay), the expansions usually takes about 60-70 percent of the base game

- the game has no max level but when you finish the main quest you are on about level 14-15
