Is it my imagination or is armor class reversed from traditional D+D games in Chillingos The Quest?

Garments and armor costing less are are at a low AC number while the opposite is just as evident...

Yeah your right. In the quest, the larger your AC, the more protection you have. Which is opposite of most D&D style games.
